Hope Away From Home: Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota
The Ronald McDonald House at 808 East 24th Street

The Ronald McDonald House at 808 East 24th Street located across from Avera McKennan opened in August of 2008.

The 808 East 24th Street House is part of the Walsh Family Village. The land for the house and the construction of the shell was built through generous donations from Avera McKennan.

The Junior League of Sioux Falls, the organization credited with building the first Ronald McDonald House in South Dakota in 2004, worked with local designers to decorate the house. This gave the community a chance to be involved by donating needed funds and furniture.
